How to recover from muscle inflammation after a workout?

Cool down: Spend at least 5-10mins doing light-intensity exercises, such as walking or gentle stretching. This helps gradually reduce your heart rate.
Hydrate: Drink water before and after your workout to replace fluids lost through sweat.
Nutrition: Consume a balanced meal or snack that includes carbohydrates, protein and healthy fats within a couple of hours after your workout. Include sources of antioxidants like fruits and vegetables to reduce inflammation.
Stretching: Perform gentle static stretches to lengthen and relax your muscles. Focus on the major muscle groups you worked during your workout. Hold each stretch for 15-30 seconds without bouncing, and repeat a few times.
